Mr. V. Terentjev, Chairmen of the Board of JSC “Liepajas Metalurgs”, conforms that published information on the LETA website on April 28,2011 is true. JSC “Liepajas Metalurgs” confirms that on March 24, 2011 it had increased the capital of "Elmes Messer Metalurgs” from 16.12% to 26.09%, investing LVL 520 616,-.

This decision was taken based on the fact that JSC “Liepājas Metalurgs” is buying from company “Elmes Messer Gaas” for the steel-making machinery needed oxygen and nitrogen, and after completion of the modernization the same type of services  also will be required for the new steel production technology.
