Considering the successfully implemented bond issues and the high interest from the investors, to secure an additional source of funding for the Latvenergo Group long-term capital investment programme, on 19 April 2013 Latvenergo AS shareholder decided to amend the shareholder’s decision of 13 June 2012 by increasing the aggregate principal amount of debt securities (bonds) issued under Latvenergo AS bond programme by 35 million lats or its equivalent in euro currency. Consequently, the aggregate principal amount of bonds to be issued under Latvenergo AS bond programme is increased up to 85 million lats or its equivalent in euro currency.

By increasing the aggregate principal amount of bonds, Latvenergo AS will be able to provide the necessary financing needs for the planned investment projects, meanwhile ensuring greater diversification of financing sources.
