AS „Latvijas balzams” forecasts that in 2011 export to Lithuania, Estonia and Poland will remain at the last year’s level, while export to other countries will slightly increase.

 

Conquest of the Norwegian market is continuing successfully, in some segments we take quite high market share, e.g. 9% of the total imported vodka volumes as well as in some categories we are in the top 5 of most sold products.

 

Introduction of Riga Black Balsam Currant in the market passed smoothly and reached 20% of the main brand volumes. In the future possibilities for introduction of new flavors will be reviewed very carefully. 

 

At the moment AS „Latvijas balzams” is taking part in the private label tender for China market. Contracting authority – company from Finland already operating in China. Parallelly at the end of the previous year AS „Latvijas balzams” took part in an exhibition in China where offered also its main brands e.g. Riga Black Balsam.

 

In 2011 we expect to have 18% increase in export and 11% increase in our total volumes in comparison with previous year.
