Financial and Capital Market Commission received a complaint from the Limited Liability Company (LLC) ''LASCO Investment'' administrator regarding notification published in the Central Storage of Regulated Information, according to which the statement made by the JSC ''Latvijas kuģniecība'' that the representatives of LLC ''LASCO Investment'' were not allowed to participate in the court case turned would be false and  amendments to the program of out-of-court legal protection proceedings, if any developed, were submitted neither to the administrators nor to the court. The administrator also pointed out that LLC ''LASCO Investment'' had not required the administrator to give an opinion on the amendments to the program of out-of-court legal protection proceedings. Therefore, in accordance with the opinion of the administrator, JSC ''Latvijas kuģniecība's'' announcement is blatant and deliberately misleading via the Central Storage of Regulated Information.

Having regard of requirements set for regulated information to be provided by an issuer laid down in Article 59 (5) of the Law on the Financial Instruments Market, the Financial and Capital Market Commission made information inquiry to the Riga City Vidzeme Suburb  Court.

As the Riga City Vidzeme Suburb Court informed, LLC ''LASCO Investment'' in the court session on 03.01.2011 was represented by Edvīns Bērziņš who according to information, accessible to the court in the data base of the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, was a procurator of LLC ''LASCO Investment'' on 03.01.2011 with the rights to represent LLC ''LASCO Investment''.

The Court also informed that the amendments to the program of out-of-court legal protection proceedings for LLC ''LASCO Investment'' were not submitted to the Riga City Vidzeme Suburb Court until 24.01.2011.
