JSC Ventspils nafta (VN) is satisfied with the changes in the Supervisory Council and Management board of JSC Latvijas Kugnieciba (LK) that is a proof of shareholders’ interests being taken into account. New Board has already started working and the biggest challenge at the moment would be the investigation of the situation at LK, to find the best ways of salvaging the once proud Latvian company.

As informed the extraordinary shareholders' meeting of VN associated company JSC Latvijas Kuģniecība (LK) was held on December 17, with 78.2% of shareholders with voting rights being present, a new LK Supervisory Council was elected, as well as other issues on the agenda were reviewed and respective resolutions adopted. On 21 December changes in the management of LK were registered in the Register of Enterprise.
