The out of court legal protection process has been initiated for JSC “Latvijas kuģniecība” (LASCO) daughter company „LASCO Investment” Ltd. „LASCO Investment” Ltd is a LASCO Group’s real estate holding and management company.

 

“Similarly as for the other real estate related companies of LASCO Group, the aim for applying the out of court legal protection process is to preserve the value of the company’s assets and to protect the interests of all the shareholders, preserving the company’s assets from the forced sale during crisis period for the unreasonably low price. During the out of court legal protection process, which will long for two years, we hope to refinance existing liabilities which in the medium term – i.e., in three to five years’ time will ensure profits for LASCO shareholders from the sale of the real estate investments,” explains Raitis Nešpors, chairman of the Management Board of „LASCO Investment” Ltd.
