Notice of Management as of
30.09.2010
The JSC “Grobiņa” informs that the JSC “Grobiņa”
extraordinary shareholders’ meeting convened on 30th
September 2010 elected a new Council in the following
composition:
Argita Jaunsleine, Chairman of the Council (does
not own shares)
Gunārs Laugalis, Deputy Chairman of the Council (does
not own shares)
Jānis Meijubers, Council Member(owns 55 000
shares)
Santa Blīgzna, Council Member(does not own
shares)
Sarmīte Ziediņa, Council Member(does not own
shares)
Professional Experience of the Council
Members
Gunārs Laugalis has been a premature
pensioner since 2009. From 2006 to 2008 he worked as a
supervisor of communications erection at the “Citrus Solutions”,
Ltd.; from 1994 to 2006 he was a department manager, a construction
expert at the “Lattelecom”, Ltd.
Jānis Meijubers is a Chairman of the
Board and a partner at the “Briede, Vīndedze un Meijubers”, Ltd.
From 1992 to 2001 he was a financial director and a chief
accountant of the “Lapa”, Ltd., he performed additional work in the
position of a financial controller at Stockholm School of Economics
in Riga; from 1986 to 1992 he was a research associate at Latvian
State Institute of Agriculture. From 1976 to 1982 J. Meijubers
studied at the University of Latvia, he was awarded the
qualification of economist. In 1997 he was awarded the
qualification of sworn auditor. J. Meijubers owns 55 000
shares of the JSC “Grobiņa”.
Argita Jaunsleine: from 2007 to
present a lawyer’s private practise at the individual merchant “A.
Jaunsleines juridiskais birojs” (A. Jaunsleine’s Legal Office).
From 2007 until present a Board member at the “4A&D”, Ltd. From
2003 to present an administrator in 28 insolvency proceedings. From
2001 to 2006 a lawyer at Pavilosta City Council. From 1999 to 2006
a legal adviser at the Consultancy Department of the JSC “Latvijas
Krājbanka” Legal Administration. From September 1995 to May 2002 a
lawyer at the JSC “Liepājas siltums”. From February 1995 to August
1995 an accountant at the “Trans Liepāja”, Ltd. From 1995 to 2001
studies at the University of Latvia, Faculty of Law, she was
awarded the qualification of lawyer. In 2003 she received a Master
of SocialSciences in Jurisprudence at the University
of Latvia. In 1997 attended an accountancy course provided by the
company of sworn auditors “Artur & Andersen”. In 2005 the state
agency “Maksātnespējas administrācija” (insolvency administration)
issued a certificate No. 00157, confirming the right to carry out
the duties of an insolvency proceedings administrator.
Santa Blīgzna: From 2005 to present
the owner of the accountancy company “S.B. Grāmatvedības birojs”,
Ltd. and a Board member. From 2009 until present the owner of the
“Elsada”, Ltd and a Board member. From 1992 to 2005 a chief
accountant at a number of companies (14). From 1983 to 1988 wages
accountant at the wood-processing company “Baltija”. From 1982 to
1983 a cashier-shopassistant at the department store
“Kurzeme”.
With the aim to perfect her knowledge she attended
various courses: efficiency courses for accountants, seminars
related to tax laws in English, courses in psychology, labour
protection and basic labour legislation, courses for accountants
working for budget institutions, financing provided by EU
structural funds to small and medium companies in Latvia, courses
for chartered accountants and others.
Sarmīte Ziediņa: Fom 2007 to present
a manager of the Sales Department and Warehouse at JSC “Grobiņa”.
From 2005 until 2007 the head of the State Employment Agency. From
1999 to 2005 the manager of Liepaja subsidiary of the “BUTS”, Ltd.
From 1994 to 1998 a secretary-methodologist at Liepāja Pedagogical
Academy. From 2003 to 2006 studies at Liepaja Pedagogical Academy,
awarded qualification – a vocational education teacher. From 1972
to 1976 studies at Liepāja Art Secondary School. Attended various
courses: customer servise, the English language.
