JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” informs that in this year the company is planning to sell production for 36 mill. LVL. Sales results for the first two months confirm that situation in the market is getting better; the company has sold production for 17% more than in the last year first two months. 

JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” also informs that the company is considering to build a cogeneration station and has carried out two pilot projects, where a liquefied gas is used in the manufacturing. Besides, starting 1st of April 2010, Latvenergo advances a price increase related to the increase of the compulsory component in amount of 45%, which is going to increase the total costs for the energy ressources in amount of 9%, and this will have an effect on JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra”, as well.
