By the decision of the Financial and Capital Market Commission of 28 September 2007, it has been permitted to extend the following mandatory takeover bid:
Target company: Joint Stock Company "RIGAS RAUGS", uniform registration number 40003040518, registered address Pulkveza Brieza iela 27, Riga, LV-1045, Latvia, telephone 7336066, fax 7338038, email rigas.raugs@raugs.lv, website www.raugs.lv.
Offeror: JÄSTBOLAGET AB, company incorporated and registered under the laws of Sweden, registered with the Swedish Trade Register on 15 October 1934 with registration number 556033-4830, registered address Box 7003, 192 07 Sollentuna, Sweden.
Price per share: LVL 6,40 (six lats and forty santims) which is determined in accordance with Article 74, paragraph 1, of the Financial Instruments Market Law. The price of the shares offered under the takeover bid is equal to the price at which the offeror purchased 314004 (three hundred fourteen thousand and four) shares with voting rights of the target company as a result of which the voting rights held by the offeror in the target company increased from 40,6% to 81,22%. Such price of the shares was negotiated based inter alia on the parties’ estimate of the value of the target company’s business and assets.
Time for acceptance of bid: The bid will be effective for 30 (thirty) days from the date on which information on the takeover bid is published in the newspaper "Latvijas Vestnesis".
