Referring to the newspaper „Liesma” publication on 26.01.2010, JSC
„Valmieras stikla šķiedra” (VSŠ) informs that company started to heat up the
new - built furnace. On the 2nd of March, 2009 VSŠ stopped this furnace for
reconstruction and repair. 
This project provided to make the new furnace, which would be one and half
times powerful and with more modern technologies. The project cost 10, 5 mill.
EUR, 5 mill. EUR VSŠ took the credit from the Swedbank. 
VSŠ expects that in the end of February, 2010 reconstructed furnace will start
to give the first glass.
