The Council of the JSC “Ditton pievadķēžu rūpnīca” informs that it has received a notice from the Deputy Chairman of the Council Georgijs Sorokins about leaving his office from June 30, 2009 according to the Article 296 Item 8 of the Commercial Law owing to the legislation changes in respect of payment of pension.

According to the Article 296 Item 9 of the Commercial Law, if the member of the Council leaves his office, the powers of the whole Council are terminated and a new composition of the Council should be elected. The Management Board has been entrusted with convening an extraordinary meeting of shareholders for election of the new composition of the Council. At the same time in order to settle current matters and fulfill legal procedures it is useful to maintain activity of the Council in incomplete composition with necessary quorum for taking decisions until election of the new composition of the Council. Owing to this the Chairman of the Council B.Matvejevs and members of the Council P.Samuilovs and J.Sokolovskis have been entrusted to continue fulfillment of the necessary functions of the Council until election of the new composition of the Council.
