On 23 April 2009 Moody’s Investors Service downgraded the long-and short-term foreign currency deposit rating of SJC ‘’Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka’’ to Baa3 from Baa1 and to P3 from P2.
The change in the rating is due to downgrade of Latvia’s foreign currency deposit rating to Baa3 from Baa1 on April 23, 2009 with negative outlook. As of March 31, 2009 the assets of Latvijas Hipotēku un zemes banka were LVL 972 mln. and its equity capital together with subordinated liabilities comprised LVL 122 mln. |
