Referring to the news site's BNS statement on February 4, 2009 (at 14:38), JSC “Liepājas Metalurgs” Chairman of the Board Mr. V.Terentjevs confirms, that the published information is true. In the year 2008 JSC “Liepājas Metalurgs” produced 647.8 thousand tons of rebar rolled steel which is only 29 336 tons less than in 2007.
