On 1 March this year, in an interview with the editor of the national news agency Leta, Mārtiņš Čakste, CEO of Latvenergo AS, in response to a question about the start of cooperation with the German company RWE AGAS announced two years ago, expressed the opinion that according to publicly available information, RWE is currently not active in the Baltic region, whereas Latvenergo will continue to invest in RES projects, mainly in Latvia and the neighbouring Baltic countries.
