JSC ELKO Group, one of the leading IT product wholesalers in Eastern Europe, CIS and the Baltic States, has confirmed its status as the largest supplier of computer components in Russia.
In the second quarter of 2008, sales results in Russia placed ELKO Group in first place among the suppliers of graphic adapters based on AMD/ATI chips. In early 2008, ELKO was awarded the status of “AMD Platinum Solution Provider”.
These outstanding sales results have become possible due to a number of measures aimed at widening the distribution channels, a balanced product portfolio, a wide range of available products, and an attractive credit policy adopted by the company.
It should be mentioned that the high results in the distribution of graphic adapters were achieved based on the sale of accelerators from just four major manufacturers: („Gigabyte”, „HIS”, „Microstar” and „Sapphire”.
According to the results from 2007, ELKO Group is the No 1 supplier of „Intel”, „Hitachi”, „Seagate” and “Western Digital” products in Russia. According to the CRN/RE rating, the company is one of the best IT distributors of PC assemblers in Russia.

JSC ELKO Group was established in 1993. The ELKO Group is the largest business in Latvia, and its turnover exceeded 1 billion US dollars last year. The company’s main activity is the wholesale of computer equipment and electronics in the Baltics, Central Europe and the CIS.
The company represents about 70 manufacturers and sells the goods to more than 6 300 retailers, local computer hardware manufacturers and system integrators.
