Kristaps Soms on March 22 leaves the position of a Supervisory Board Member of JSC Attīstības finanšu institūcija Altum.

Extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of the joint stock company Attīstības finanšu institūcija Altum on March 22, 2021, approved Ilze Baltābola to the position of a Supervisory Board Member for the time until a new candidate is selected in line with the procedures of nominating supervisory board members, according to the Law on Governance of Capital Shares of a Public Person and Capital Companies. In accordance with Part 1 of Section 6 of the Law on Development Financial Institution, each holder of stocks (ministry) has the right to nominate one candidate for the position of a Supervisory Board Member. Ilze Baltābola is the Deputy director of the Economics Ministry’s Department of Entrepreneurship Competitiveness with experience in coordinating improvement of business environment and implementation of business support programmes in Latvia. She has a Master’s Degree in European Studies from the Faculty of Business Management and Economics of the University of Latvia. Ilze Baltābola has considerable experience and expertise in development of financial instruments, development of state support programs and risk management.

As a result, the Supervisory Board of JSC Attīstības finanšu institūcija Altum consists of the following: Līga Kļaviņa, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board; Jānis Šnore and Ilze Baltābola, Members of the Supervisory Board.
