The Board of Directors of AS „Rīgas kuģu būvētava” announces that in the Council meeting on August 07^th, 2017 was elected a new Member of the Board of Directors.

Ainārs Tropiņš has graduated from the University of Latvia, obtaining a professional degree in law. From 2006 to 2011 Ainārs Tropiņš worked in AS LTB Bank (now AS Expobank), holding position of the Head of Legal Department, but from 2011 to 2014 worked in Rigensis Bank AS, holding position of AML Compliance Officer. Since 2015 Ainārs Tropiņš works in AS „Rīgas kuģu būvētava” on a position of the Head of Legal Department. Ainārs Tropiņš is not a shareholder of AS „Rīgas kuģu būvētava”.

The current Member of the Board of Directors Einārs Buks was appointed on a position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
