On Thursday, February 25, the Supervisory Council of JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” re-elected Paul Thomas and Christopher James Kernon as members of the Management Board for 5 years. Beginning of term of office – March 1 of this year. Paul has been a member of the Management Board of JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” since July 2010 and at the same time he is also Head of the Global Shipping Sector of “Vitol” Group. P.Thomas has been working for “Vitol” Group since 1988, but he has also been Director of the shipping company “Finaval Spa” since 2007. Paul Thomas does not own any JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” shares. Christopher Kernon has been a member of the Management Board of JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” since February 2011. C.J. Kernon has over 20 years of experience in the shipping sector, and he has been in charge of chartering project management at “Vitol” Group since 2003. Christopher Kernon does not own any JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” shares. About JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” JSC “Latvian Shipping Company” (NASDAQ RIGA: LSC1R) is among the biggest vessel owners in the segment of medium and handy size tankers and takes leading positions in terms of the transported amount of petroleum products among similar companies in Northern Europe. The company owns 16 modern vessels employing more than 500 professional and high-skilled seamen from Latvia. Besides, it is technically serving five more vessels, thus managing a fleet of 21 vessels.
