LAU Infra Grupa AS has joined the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia (FSDI Latvia), expanding opportunities for cooperation with industry partners in Latvia and internationally. LAU Infra Grupa AS participates in the delivery of infrastructure projects of national security importance in Latvia’s eastern border region, including the development of counter-mobility infrastructure for the Baltic Defence Line and the construction of infrastructure along the Latvia–Russia state border. This experience demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver infrastructure solutions that support national defence and military mobility. “Infrastructure is essential not only for economic development and everyday mobility, but also for supporting national security and defence capabilities. Membership in FSDI Latvia gives us the opportunity to cooperate more closely with industry companies and institutions in Latvia and abroad, exchange experience and gain a better understanding of developments within the sector. It also opens up new areas of cooperation where we can apply LAU Infra Grupa’s expertise and resources,” says Vilnis Vitkovskis, Chairman of the Management Board of LAU Infra Grupa AS. FSDI Latvia is a national security and defence industry organisation that brings together companies, educational and research institutions, and promotes cooperation with public authorities and international partners.
