JSC “Augstsprieguma tīkls” (AST) informs that the Chair of the Supervisory Board of AST, Olga Bogdanova, will perform her duties until 24 August 2026 in connection with continuing her professional career in another position. As of 25 August, O. Bogdanova will assume the position of Vice-Rector for Studies at the University of Latvia.

At the same time, an open competition organised by the State Chancellery and the Ministry of Climate and Energy is currently underway for two positions of Members of the Supervisory Board of AST. The competition seeks candidates with expertise in strategy, stakeholder management and corporate governance, as well as in the energy sector.

As previously reported, the number of Supervisory Board members of AST has been reduced from five to three members, and the vacant positions are being filled through an open competition to ensure a set of competencies aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and sustainable governance.

Following the conclusion of the competition and the approval of the new composition of the Supervisory Board, the Supervisory Board will elect its Chair from among its members in accordance with applicable laws and the company’s governance principles
