Gundars Ruža, Member of the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS, has informed the Supervisory Board and the representative of the company’s shareholder – the Ministry of Economics – that as of 25 April 2026 he has decided to step down from his position as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS, as well as to cease performing his duties as a member of the Audit Committee of Latvenergo AS, where he served as a representative of the Supervisory Board. G. Ruža expresses satisfaction with the work accomplished during his term of office since June 2020 and notes that over these five years Latvenergo has developed into a mature, Baltic-level international Group with significant growth indicators. This year also marks the conclusion of Latvenergo’s five-year medium-term strategy period. The Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS will continue its work with the remaining four members until the Shareholders’ Meeting elects a new Supervisory Board member selected through a competitive process.
