On April 8, the Shareholders' Meeting of Latvenergo AS appointed Rodžers Jānis Grigulis as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS for a five-year term, having been recognized as the most suitable by the selection committee formed by the Ministry of Economics. Aigars Laizāns, Kaspars Rokens, Toms Siliņš and Gundars Ruža continue serving on the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS. All Members of the Supervisory Board of Latvenergo AS qualify as independent members of the Supervisory Board.

R.J. Grigulis was a member of the Supervisory Board of Latvijas dzelzceļš VAS, as well as the Chairman of the Management Board of Pasažieru vilciens AS from 2017 to 2024. Grigulis has more than 25 years of management experience in various business areas and in private and public companies of various sizes.

R.J. Grigulis holds a Master Degree of Social Sciences in Management of International Economic Relations from the University of Latvia, and has also studied international business, marketing and competition at the Sorbonne University (France).

Grigulis has been a member of the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance since 2020.
