During the Q1 2022 AS DelfinGroup continued growth in the consumer lending segment by issuing EUR 11.5 million in new loans that is 73% more compared to the same period in 2021. In March, new consumer loans were issued in the amount of EUR 4.6 million, which is the best result in the company’s history.
The easing of Covid-19 restrictions had a positive impact on the pawn loan segment. During the first quarter of this year AS DelfinGroup issued new pawn shop loans in the amount of EUR 3.6 million which is 30% more than in the first quarter of 2021. It is expected that the lifting of restrictions on the number of store visitors from 1 April this year will have a positive effect on the issuance of pawn loans in the company’s branch network in the following periods.
Stable growth is also observed in the sale of pre-owned goods, where sales grew by 8% compared to the Q1 of 2021, reaching EUR 2.5 million.
Positive sales results ensure a stable growth of the loan portfolio, which brings AS DelfinGroup closer to achieve its long-term strategic goals for 2024.
