In accordance with the requirements of Section 7 and 10 of Article 59.1 of Law on the Financial Instruments Market, the Board of the Joint Stock Company Latvijas balzams (hereinafter also ‘the Company’) informs that it concluded a transaction with the Swiss bank Credit Suisse AG, AS Luminor bank and group company Amber Beverage Group Holding S.à r.l.

The transaction was concluded specifying the terms of previously signed agreements, including between Credit Suisse AG and Amber Beverage Group Holding S.à r.l. loan agreement of EUR 27 million. The transfer of claims to banks has been clarified in line with current commercial practice.

The impact of the transaction on the Company's business and on the Company's shareholders who are not participants in this transaction is assessed as neutral, as the transaction does not increase the amount of existing liabilities. The opinion of the Audit Committee has been received on the transaction.
