JSC "PATA Saldus" plans to implement an investment project "Ensuring significant energy savings in JSC PATA Saldus - Round II".

The project intends to invest in improving the production facility by purchasing three Drying chambers with recuperation system.

The provided investment project is planned to be co-financed with support from the European Union Cohesion Fund supported by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency's "Growth and Employment" support program 4.1.1. the specific support objective "Promote the efficient use of energy resources, reduction of energy consumption and the transition to the renewable energy resources in the manufacturing industry Round II".

The planned investments amount to approximately EUR 1 000 000. Co-financing from the Cohesion Fund project approval would amount to 30%.

In case of realization of the project:

- Significant energy savings would be achieved

- increased energy efficiency

- increased productivity

- reduced production cost

- reduced CO2 emissions.
