JSC Brivais Vilnis, suspended for a period of time, in 2007 and 2008, canned fish exports to Russia. Canned fish exports to Russia where restored at the end of 2009. In 2010, reaching 20% of total exports, in 2011 - 34% and during the last 9 months of 2012 - 37%. At the end of 2012 and in 2013, exports to Russia could reach 40%. Exports to Russia, have allowed the company a significant increase in the overall production, which has significantly improved the company's financial performance. In 2012, first 9 months unaudited results reach 480 thousand lats.

JSC Brivais Vilnis is planning to enter the in French Market at the end of 2012. The Company has started negotiations with potential partners.

Work is ongoing to find a partner in the Peoples Republic of China. In the nearest future, an official visit is being planned to visit China, together with the Minister of Agriculture Mrs. L.Straujuma.

In the future, JSC Brivais Vilnis production volumes could grow by 10-15% per year. Growth rates are directly affected by the availability and price of raw materials, and labor supply.
