At the Investor Club Festival, which will take place this Saturday, June 3rd, INDEXO will share its achievements thus far and its plans for the coming years in both the pension management and banking sectors. INDEXO forecasts that the pension saving volume in Latvia will grow to approximately EUR 10 billion, and INDEXO aims to manage 20% of that by 2027. In the banking market, INDEXO plans to acquire around 4-5% of the lending market share in the next four years. 

During the Investor Festival, INDEXO will also inform about its past growth, demonstrating that it has been and continues to be the fastest-growing pension manager in the Baltics, currently managing over 710 million euros of pension savings entrusted by more than 110,000 clients. Since 2018, INDEXO has been a profitable company before client acquisition expenses.

Regarding the competition in the banking sector, at the Investor Club Festival, INDEXO will highlight passive lending in Latvia, considering that Latvia has the second-lowest loans to GDP ratio in the Eurozone. Similarly, Latvia has one of the highest mortgage loan margins. The low level of lending activity, high loan margins, and market concentration in the hands of only four foreign-owned banks present significant opportunities for INDEXO's future banking endeavours. INDEXO is well-positioned to ignite competition in the banking sector as the brand is well recognized and positively perceived, the company has a large base of loyal clients, and there are ongoing efforts to develop a new, modern mobile banking application and IT infrastructure.

As previously reported, in parallel to pension management, INDEXO has been actively working on a new commercial bank project and at the end of last year filed for a banking license. INDEXO is also working on the new banks’ product portfolio, development of its IT systems and risk management models as well as other matters related to the operations of the would-be bank.
