IPAS Indexo (hereinafter – INDEXO) has joined forces in partnership with one of INDEXO founders and shareholders Druvis Murmanis and financer Kristaps Berzins to establish an alternative investment fund management company.

This joint venture in future will be focused on developing and managing competitive low-cost real estate fund for both Baltic institutional and also local retail investors.

INDEXO is committed to develop Latvian capital markets and provide savers with better alternatives for saving. Real estate is one of the most important assets for people to save money for retirement. Currently Latvia lacks a local real estate fund for retail investors that would help investors to invest money into local property market and help to develop it. The aim of the Company will be to establish a real estate fund that would offer better terms for local investors than the current alternatives. 

The Company will seek to register its operations with Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC) in the nearest time and to launch active business operations of the Fund in the next 3 - 4 months.

The team will include Mr. Joakim Blanking - as a member of the Supervisory Council as independent Council member. Mr. Blanking has a background in banking and real estate business and is among others the former CEO of Linstow Baltic. Mr. Blanking has more than 20 years of experience in real estate in the Baltics and is currently managing his own investments mainly in the real estate sector.

Supervisory council will be joined also by INDEXO board member and co-founder Henrik Karmo, who has prior real estate fund management with EEREIF Management in Estonia.

Druvis Murmanis, one of INDEXO founders also will take a Supervisory Council role in new venture. Previously Druvis has taken top positions in Hansabank and Parex bank and has been founder and investor in several well-known and successful Latvian companies as Kool Latvija, AJ Power Holding, Energia Verde, PAKELLA and others. Currently as investor Druvis is focused on developing and managing residential and commercial real estate portfolio in Riga.

Kristaps Berzins who will be the CEO of new venture has significant experience as financer, financial adviser and investor. Previously acted as the managing partner in a local private equity group LR Capital. Last 7 years Kristaps has been involved in managing and developing various real estate objects in Latvia.
