Latvian financial service company’s AS DelfinGroup CFO Aldis Umblejs will now serve on the Management Board of the company and replace Kristaps Bergmanis in this position. Changes in the composition of the Management Board have been registered in the Commercial register on November 30, 2021. Chairman of the Management Board Didzis Ādmīdiņš and Member of the Management Board Ivars Lamberts will continue working on the Board.

A.Umblejs is a CFA charterholder, CFA Institute as well as holds a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) qualification, UK. He has studied at BA School of Business and Finance and Riga Graduate School of Law. Aldis has held positions of CFO and board member at AS Finitera, an international fintech company, project manager at EY, an international audit company, served as CFO at SIA Scandagra and held several audit related positions in other companies. A. Umblejs owns 2,739 shares of AS DelfinGroup.

AS DelfinGroup Chairman of the Management Board Didzis Ādmīdiņš: “One professional replaces another on the Board of AS DelfinGroup. K. Bergmanis joined the company early on – in 2012 and since then has made a huge effort to make the company one of the industry leaders, and one of the few companies to obtain trust of thousands of investors and to be publicly traded on Nasdaq Riga stock exchange. I highly appreciate professionalism, integrity and contribution of K. Bergmanis and wish him all the success in his future business endeavors. A. Umblejs has successfully taken over the duties of CFO from K. Bergmanis since August. He quickly became part of the team and has already proven his competency in finance and management. Aldis’s former experience in fintech industry helps us move forward with digitalization and automation more rapidly. Becoming a management board member is another milestone for him.”

Kristaps Bergmanis: “Nine years in one company is a long period of time and with IPO of AS DelfinGroup, this chapter of my career has come to an end. I am planning to focus on other business endeavors. I will closely follow the future growth of AS DelfinGroup as a shareholder but will use my knowledge as a finance director and competencies in raising capital to help other businesses. Right now, though, I plan to take a couple of months off, because this year has been very intensive and eventful.”

The initial public offering (IPO) of AS DelfinGroup successfully closed on 14 October.  5,927 investors participated in the IPO and the company raised 8.09 million euros. On 19 October 2021 Nasdaq Riga decided to list AS DelfinGroup shares on the Baltic Main List as of 20 October 2021.
