Uldis Bariss, Member of the Management Board, Chief Commercial Officer of Latvenergo AS, has decided not to continue working in the Management Board of the company after his authorisations expire on 15 November 2020. Starting from November 16, U. Bariss will start fulfilling duties of the Chairman of the Management Board at Conexus AS.

As Chief Commercial Officer U. Bariss has been responsible for energy wholesale, marketing and customer service, billing, and regulatory affairs. Since 2018, he is supervising energy generation planning, technical management of HPPs and CHPPs, and also generation projects.

A new member of the Management Board of Latvenergo AS will be selected through a competition.
