JSC “RĪGAS ELEKTROMAŠĪNBŪVES RŪPNĪCA” continues to implement the project no. 1.1.1.1/18/A/055 „Development of a new generation synchronous reluctance electrical motor”.

JSC RER employees have started work on the first project activities: exploring existing solutions in the field of synchronous reluctance motors and optimization of rotor and stator sheet metal geometry. On the 12th of June 2019, the procurement “Designing and Modeling of New Generation Synchronous Reluctance Motor Drive” was announced, in frame of which the received tenders are being evaluated. It is planned to sign the contract with the outsourcing service provider by the end of July this year.

The project is running according to the planned schedule.

The project is co-financed by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency of the Republic of Latvia and the European Regional Development Fund.
