The Proposal by the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, does not affect ABLV Bank bondholders since the securities (including ABLV Bank bonds) owned by our clients are being kept separately from the securities owned by the bank, thus ensuring additional safety.

ABLV Bank does not see any obstacles for it to fulfil the obligations undertaken with the bonds denominated in USD issued by the bank and registered in the Bond List of the Exchange since all USD settlements regarding the bonds – coupon payments and redemptions – take place within the bank, without using any correspondent accounts of other banks.

We would like to state once again that the financial condition of the bank and the availability of its financial resources are at a sufficiently high level. Capital adequacy and liquidity ratios of ABLV Bank are exceeding the limits set forth by the regulator.
