Valmieras stikla šķiedra JSC informs, that on 5 December 2015 around 11:30 PM at Cempu Street 13, Valmiera, a small fire erupted, igniting the roof in about 5 square meter area at the production building, where one of the fibre glass melting furnaces is located. The fire was totally eliminated around 2 AM, on 6 December 2015. In order to perform a detailed safety check, roof of the production building in size of 15 square meters was torn off. Causes for the fire are currently being clarified, at the accident, no person suffered.

The management of Valmieras stikla šķiedra JSC informs that the production at the company is not affected and it continues at a daily routine.
