Since November 16, 2015 Dmitry Barkov is the new member of the Management Board of JSC “LatRosTrans”. Before joining “LatRosTrans” Barkov has worked in several international petroleum product and gas transshipping companies for more than 23 years, and since 2009 has been a member of the Supervisory Council of JSC “LatRosTrans”.
“Dmitry
Barkov as the new Head of “LatRosTrans” will be a great addition to
the team due to his international professional experience. In a
time full of geopolitical and petroleum transit business challenges
Barkov’s practical and managerial knowledge will be a perfect fit
for not just “LatRosTrans”, but the whole “Ventspils nafta” group,”
stated Robert Kirkup, the Chairman of the Supervisory Council of
“LatRosTrans” and Chairman of the Management Board of “Ventspils
nafta”.
The most
important tasks from Dmitry Barkov’s point of view will be to
continue transshipping petroleum products through Latvia and to
provide transshipping safety of world class standards, excellent
quality of service and optimal delivery due
dates.
The new
Head of the company has graduated from the Moscow Institute of
Humanities (Russia) and perfected his knowledge at the Maxwell
School of Citizenship and Public Affairs Syracuse University (USA)
and Moscow State University (Russia).
