JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra”, one of the leading fibre glass manufacturer in Europe re-notifies that it is planned to invest EUR 8 Million in the company’s development and modernization, including more than EUR 2 Million in new environment protection technologies.

It should be noted, that to fulfil the investment program two loans are taken in the total amount of EUR 7.2 Million from JSC “SEB banka”. To secure the loans, real estate of JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” will be pledged in Cempu Street 13B, Valmiera. The term of repayment of both loans is January 2021.

As the company informed before – referring the provisionally unconsolidated data, the JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” reached in 2014 the highest net turnover in the history of the company. Regardless the ongoing growth of the market competition and the energy cost significant proportion, the company’s unconsolidated net turnover reached EUR 91.9 Million, which is an increase of 8.5% compared to the audited unconsolidated net turnover in 2013. While in the beginning of 2015 reached all-time highest JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” unconsolidated sales volume in the month of January – EUR 8.6 Million, which is an increase of 6% compared to the analogue period in 2014.

The management of JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” informs that the unaudited JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” consolidated financial report for 2014 12 months will be announced on the deadline announced before (9th calendar week) on the monetary market homepage http://www.nasdaqomxbaltic.com/.
