JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra” closes the last fiscal year with the record turnover of EUR 88.41 Million
The unaudited financial report of JSC „Valmieras stikla šķiedra”
confirms that the group’s consolidated turnover of 2013 has reached
EUR 88.41 Million. This is the highest annual net turnover since
the foundation of the company and compared to the 2012 has grown
for EUR 17.4 Million or 25%. Group’s unaudited consolidated net
profit is about 30% more in at the same period of 2012 reaching EUR
5.10 Million. Earnings per share at 2013 reached EUR 0.2102 and is
the highest rate since being listed on the share
market.
The chairman of the board of JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” Andris
Oskars Brutāns: “We have successfully closed the fiscal year 2013
showing that we can find further development possibilities reaching
a significant growth of sales volume. We have always emphasized
that our advantage among competitors is the ability to be flexible
towards the demand of customers and market. This has helped to
increase the turnover of 2013 for 25%. We are proud of highest
profit rate ever – EUR 5.1 Million. Due to Valmiera Glass UK Ltd we
have new possibilities for entering new markets or get new product
groups known, providing directly the aviation industry with glass
fibre products. JSC “Valmieras stikla šķiedra” is a long-term
oriented company, investing in the development of manufacturing.
The investments of EUR 10.32 Million in 2013 approve
this.”
